DIYers and machinists, this 20-piece set of high-speed steel rods is perfect for all kinds of projects! These 2mm diameter rods measure 200mm long (about 7.87 inches) and have a hardness of HRC61~63, which means they're seriously tough and wear-resistant. The surface is smooth and they're easy to shape without developing cracks, which is awesome when you're making custom parts. You can use these for everything from making milling cutters and sharp knives to creating gravers, punch press needles, or bearing sleeves. They work great on copper, aluminum, and unhardened steel materials. What's really convenient is how easy they are to cut to whatever size you need for your specific project. Just a quick pro tip - make sure to add some oil during storage and keep them away from air exposure to prevent rust. I've used these for making replacement parts for various machines and they hold up beautifully. The quality is consistent across all 20 pieces, and the high-speed steel composition means they maintain their edge and strength even under friction and heat. Whether you're working on lathes, boring machines, or just need sturdy rods for craft projects, this set gives you plenty of material to work with. The 2mm size is versatile enough for detailed work but substantial enough for structural components. For the price, getting 20 quality HSS rods is a steal compared to buying them individually from hardware stores.
