SRAM PC 1170 11-Speed Chain - Hollowpin Bicycle Chain With Powerlock 120 Links

Alright cyclists, listen up - this SRAM PC 1170 chain is the real deal for your 11-speed setup. So what makes it special? Well, first off it's got this hollow pin construction that makes it both strong and lightweight - exactly what you want when you're trying to shave grams off your bike. The design is narrower than previous chains, which is specifically engineered for 11-speed performance, and those outer plates are heavily chamfered for smoother, quieter shifting. No more annoying chain noise when you're climbing or really pushing the pedals! The chrome hardened pin construction isn't just marketing speak either - it actually extends the chain life significantly, meaning you won't be replacing this thing as often as cheaper chains. It comes with 120 links and includes SRAM's Powerlock connecting link, which makes installation and removal super straightforward. Whether you're running SRAM or Shimano 11-speed systems, this chain delivers consistent, reliable performance. I've noticed much crisper shifts, especially under load, and the durability is impressive even when you're putting in serious miles or riding in less-than-ideal conditions. The hollow pin technology isn't just about weight savings - it actually contributes to better shifting performance because of how the chain engages with the cassette and chainrings. If you're tired of chains that stretch too quickly or shift poorly, this SRAM PC 1170 is definitely worth the upgrade. It's one of those components where you can actually feel the difference in your ride quality. Plus, with proper maintenance, this thing will last through plenty of miles before needing replacement. Seriously, if you're running an 11-speed setup and want reliable, smooth-shifting performance, this chain should be at the top of your list.
