This Fleetise dial indicator has become my go-to precision measuring tool in the shop! The 0-1 inch measuring range with 0.001 inch resolution is perfect for all kinds of mechanical work. I've been using it for checking runout on brake rotors, measuring shaft play, and setting up machinery. The adjustable limit markers are super handy - you can set your tolerance limits and quickly see if something is within spec. The bezel rotates a full 360 degrees so you can zero it in any position, which makes taking measurements in tight spaces much easier. The carbide ball contact point on the spindle is durable and the brass gear wheels prevent wear over time. The lug back mounting makes it compatible with most magnetic bases and tool holders. The crystal face is really clear and easy to read - no squinting to see the tiny markings. What I appreciate is that it feels solid and well-made, not cheap like some import tools. The spindle moves smoothly without sticking, which is crucial for accurate measurements. I've compared it to more expensive brands and it's surprisingly accurate right out of the box. If you do any kind of precision mechanical work, machining, or automotive repair, this dial indicator is absolutely worth having in your toolbox. It's become essential for my engine rebuilding projects and general maintenance work. For the price, the quality is impressive - definitely professional grade without the professional price tag!
