WWII history buffs and tabletop gamers, this Warlord Games Sherman Firefly set is absolutely fantastic for bringing historical battles to life! The 1:56 scale is perfect for Bolt Action gaming and displays beautifully with that incredible attention to detail Warlord is known for. The Sherman Firefly Vc was such an important tank - the British modification that mounted the powerful 17-pounder gun on a Sherman chassis, becoming the bane of German heavy armor. This hard plastic kit goes together smoothly with minimal cleanup needed, and the detail is crisp enough that painting is actually enjoyable rather than frustrating. The set includes everything you need to build this iconic tank, and the scale works perfectly with other 28mm miniatures in your collection. Whether you're a seasoned model builder or new to the hobby, the instructions are clear and the parts fit well. The historical accuracy is impressive - from the distinctive long barrel to the specific details that differentiate the Firefly from standard Shermans. Warlord's reputation for quality really shows in the molding quality and part engineering. This isn't just a model kit - it's a gateway into immersive WWII tabletop gaming where you can recreate those tense armored engagements. The finished model has serious presence on the gaming table and makes a fantastic centerpiece for any Allied forces collection.
