Parents, if you're looking for that perfect first bike for your child, this vollsch BMX style bike is definitely worth considering! The BMX design looks seriously cool - it's got that rugged, sporty look that kids love, but with all the safety features you want as a parent. It comes in 12, 14, and 16 inch sizes to fit different age ranges from about 7 to 15 years old. The training wheels are included and adjustable, which is awesome because they provide that stability while your child is learning, but you can remove them once they gain confidence. The high-carbon steel frame is tough enough to handle the inevitable drops and crashes that come with learning to ride. The coaster brake (that pedal-backwards-to-stop kind) is perfect for younger kids who might not have the hand strength for hand brakes yet. The full chain guard is a really nice safety feature that keeps little fingers and clothing away from the chain. Assembly is pretty straightforward too - it comes 85% put together, and you can usually finish it in about 20 minutes following the instructions. Watching your child learn to ride a bike is such a milestone moment, and having a quality bike that's both safe and cool-looking makes the experience so much better for everyone involved!
