Wow, this olive wood chess set is absolutely stunning! The 15x15 inch board with 3.5 inch height is the perfect size - substantial enough to feel luxurious but not so huge it dominates your space. What makes it special is that each piece is handcrafted by artisans in Tunisia using natural olive wood, so every set has unique grain patterns and character. The wood has this beautiful natural waterproof quality that makes it durable and resistant to stains and odors. It comes with 32 chess pieces that are carefully carved with nice weight and detail. The storage drawers are so practical - no more losing pieces or searching for missing knights! The fair trade aspect is really nice too, knowing you're supporting women artisans and ethical craftsmanship. As the wood ages, it naturally darkens and develops more character, making it even more beautiful over time. This isn't just a game - it's a piece of art that becomes a family heirloom. Perfect for housewarmings, birthdays, or anyone who appreciates fine craftsmanship. Whether you're an avid chess player or just want something beautiful for your home, this set delivers both functionality and incredible beauty. It's one of those items that instantly elevates any room it's in!
