This Memphis Shades mounting kit is specifically designed for 2006-2007 Kawasaki VN2000A Vulcan motorcycles. It's the MEK1980 model, which you might also see referenced as ME-0639 or 2321-0303 in some parts systems. This kit is for installing fork deflectors, which help reduce wind buffeting and provide better protection while riding. Memphis Shades is a well-known brand in the motorcycle accessories world, so you're getting a quality product that's been properly engineered for your bike. The kit includes all the necessary hardware to mount the deflectors securely to your Vulcan's forks. It's important to note that this is just the mounting kit - the actual deflectors are sold separately, so make sure you have both parts if you're planning to install wind protection. The product has been around since 2012, which speaks to its reliability and popularity among Vulcan owners. When installing motorcycle accessories, having the right mounting hardware is crucial for both safety and proper function, and this kit is designed specifically for that purpose. Always double-check the fitment with your exact motorcycle model and year before purchasing, as even small differences between model years can affect compatibility. It's one of those specialized parts that makes adding aftermarket accessories to your bike much easier and more secure.
