Families looking for a meaningful way to count down to Christmas, this nativity advent calendar is absolutely beautiful! The 15.2x9.5 inch box is the perfect size - big enough to see all the details but compact enough to fit on a shelf or mantel. Each of the 24 days reveals a different resin figure behind its own little door, from Mary and Joseph to the animals and wise men. The resin sculptures have these adorable cartoon-style details that kids love, but they're still realistic enough to teach the real Christmas story. The quality is impressive - the pieces are durable enough for little hands without being fragile, and the colors are vibrant without looking cheap. My kids have been so excited to open a new door each day, and it's been a wonderful way to talk about the meaning of Christmas beyond just Santa and presents. The box itself makes a lovely holiday decoration that adds to your Christmas ambiance. The doors open smoothly and close securely, so you can use this calendar year after year. It's become one of those family traditions that the kids look forward to as much as Christmas morning itself. Whether you're buying it for your own family or as a gift, this advent calendar brings the true spirit of Christmas to life in such a tangible, engaging way for children.
