Hey woodworkers and crafters! If you're into traditional finishes or antique restoration, these purple shellac flakes are about to become your new favorite material. Coming in a generous 24 oz package (that's about 680 grams for our metric friends), this natural resin is perfect for all kinds of projects. The purple hue gives a beautiful tint that's just gorgeous on wood surfaces. What's really cool about shellac is how versatile it is - it dries super fast with a beautiful natural luster, adheres to pretty much any surface including glass and metal, and provides excellent waterproof and anti-corrosion protection. It's made from reliable, odorless resin that's smooth with great insulation properties and strong stickiness. Whether you're restoring antique furniture, working on guitar finishes, doing fine wood veneers, or any craft project that needs a professional-looking finish, this stuff delivers. A little pro tip - if it gets blocked during shipping (which can happen above 90°F), just grind it up a bit to speed up dissolution. The quality isn't affected, it just needs a little help getting started. The application process is straightforward once you get the hang of it, and the results are just stunning. That classic shellac shine is something modern finishes just can't replicate. It's one of those traditional materials that serious woodworkers keep coming back to because nothing else quite matches its warmth and depth. Whether you're a professional restorer or a hobbyist looking to try traditional techniques, these shellac flakes will give your projects that authentic, professional finish that makes people say 'wow'.
