Prime-Line 9000909 Machine Screws - #8-32 X 1-1/2 Inch Flat Head Phillips, Zinc Plated (75-Pack)

Hey DIYers and repair folks, let's talk about these Prime-Line machine screws that are about to make your projects so much easier! This 75-pack of #8-32 x 1-1/2 inch flat head Phillips screws is one of those basic supplies that you'll find yourself reaching for again and again. The zinc plating is quality - it provides good corrosion resistance without that cheap, flaky finish you sometimes see on budget hardware. I've used these for everything from appliance repairs to building small furniture projects to fixing electronic enclosures, and they've held up beautifully. The flat head design sits flush when installed, which is perfect for applications where you don't want protruding screw heads. The Phillips drive is clean and well-formed - no stripping issues when using the right size screwdriver, which is such a relief compared to some hardware store screws that seem designed to frustrate you. The 1-1/2 inch length is super versatile - long enough for many applications but not so long that you're constantly cutting them down. The coarse UNC-2A threads engage nicely in pre-threaded holes or with matching nuts, and the blunt point style makes starting them straightforward. What's great about buying in a 75-pack is that you always have spares on hand - no more running to the hardware store for just a couple of screws mid-project. I keep a container of these in my workshop and another in my garage, and I've saved countless trips to the store by having them readily available. The quality consistency is impressive too - every screw in the pack has the same dimensions and finish, which matters when you're working on projects where consistency is important. Whether you're a professional tradesperson who needs reliable fasteners or a weekend warrior tackling home repairs, having a supply of these quality machine screws on hand makes any job smoother. They've become one of my most-used fasteners because they're just so reliably good at what they do!
