Tramontina Paella Pot 11.8 Inch - Non-Stick Aluminum Pan With Glass Lid

This Tramontina paella pan is an absolute workhorse in my kitchen! The 11.8 inch diameter is the perfect size for making paella for 4-6 people, but I use it for so much more than just Spanish dishes. The Starflon T1 non-stick coating is fantastic - eggs slide right out, rice doesn't stick, and cleanup takes seconds. The aluminum construction heats evenly and quickly, which is essential for getting that perfect socarrat (the crispy bottom layer) in paella. The tempered glass lid is genius because you can monitor your cooking without losing heat and moisture by constantly lifting the lid. The stainless steel edges and anti-thermal Bakelite handles stay cool to the touch and provide a secure grip, which is especially important when you're moving a full pan. I've used mine on gas, electric, and glass-ceramic stovetops with great results every time. The red color (also available in graphite) is vibrant and looks beautiful coming straight to the table for serving. As someone who cooks paella regularly, I appreciate the authentic shallow design that gives rice the right surface area to cook properly. But honestly, I use this pan for everything from stir-fries to frittatas to roasting vegetables - it's incredibly versatile. The quality is typical Tramontina - excellent craftsmanship that lasts for years. If you're into Spanish cooking or just want a reliable, multi-purpose pan that performs beautifully, this paella pot is definitely worth the investment.
