SPEEDWOX 8" Canvas Stretching Pliers - Professional Art Tool With Serrated Jaws For Oil Painting Canvas

Artists and framers, this SPEEDWOX canvas stretching plier is about to become your new best friend! If you've ever struggled with stretching canvas tightly over frames, this tool makes the job so much easier and more professional. The 8-inch size gives you great leverage, and those widened serrated jaws grip the canvas firmly without damaging the surface. The rubberized grips are comfortable for your hands, even during longer stretching sessions. But here's the really clever part - the spring return handle automatically opens after each pull, saving you time and effort. The hardened alloy construction means this tool is built to last through years of use without bending or breaking. It measures 200mm x 65mm x 20mm and weighs about 352 grams - substantial enough to feel quality but not too heavy. You can even use the flat side as a hammer to secure your canvas staples or tacks! SPEEDWOX has been making tools since 1958, so they know what they're doing when it comes to quality craftsmanship. Quick note: there might be some protective oil on the surface when it arrives (prevents rust), just wipe it clean with a cloth. Whether you're a professional artist, art student, or hobby framer, this tool will save you so much frustration and give you that perfectly taut canvas every time. Definitely one of those specialized tools that's worth every penny for anyone who works with canvases regularly!
