Grobet USA Borax Flux - 8 Oz Container For Metal Melting & Jewelry Making

Metalworkers and jewelry makers, this Grobet USA borax flux is an absolute essential for anyone working with molten metals! This 8 oz container gives you plenty of flux for multiple projects without taking up much space in your workshop. Borax flux works by controlling oxidation during the melting process - it forms a protective layer that prevents oxygen from reacting with your molten metal, which means cleaner melts and better results. Whether you're casting jewelry, creating metal art, or doing any kind of metal melting work, this flux helps you achieve professional-quality outcomes. The fine powder consistency makes it easy to apply exactly where you need it, and a little goes a long way. It's particularly useful when working with silver, gold, and other precious metals where you want to minimize waste and impurities. The flux helps draw impurities to the surface where they can be easily removed, resulting in purer finished pieces. Grobet has been supplying quality tools and materials to professionals for years, so you know you're getting a reliable product that performs consistently. The container is sturdy and seals well, keeping the flux dry and ready for use. If you're new to metalworking, borax flux is one of those fundamental materials that experienced crafters always keep on hand. It's affordable, effective, and makes a noticeable difference in your finished work. Whether you're a hobbyist creating custom pieces or a professional running a jewelry business, having quality flux on hand is non-negotiable for achieving the best results. This 8 oz size is perfect for most users - not so small that you're constantly reordering, but not so large that it goes bad before you can use it all. If you're serious about metalworking, this Grobet borax flux belongs in your toolkit!
