So these Hama Midi beads are seriously fun for kids and honestly, adults too! You get this big bag with over 3000 of these ice blue beads that you can arrange on the special plates to create all kinds of designs. The process is pretty straightforward - you place the beads on the plate to make your design, cover it with the ironing paper, then iron it with a hot iron (no steam, and this part is definitely for adults to handle). The heat melts the beads together just enough to create this cool fused design that you can then pop off the reusable plate. What's really neat about Hama games is how they're actually educational toys that help with kids' development. Little ones learn color recognition, how to grasp small objects, distinguish shapes, and get their first ideas about quantities - all while having fun creating something they can actually keep. It's one of those activities that parents and kids can do together, helping build confidence and dexterity while stimulating curiosity. The beads are the midi size, which is perfect for smaller hands to handle comfortably. They're recommended for children 5 years and up, which seems about right since there are small parts involved. Whether you're looking for a rainy day activity, a creative project, or just something to keep little hands busy while developing important skills, these Hama beads deliver both fun and educational value. The ice blue color is really pretty too - it looks like frozen water or something magical!
