Magic: The Gathering - Big Score Instant Spell - Streets Of New Capenna Common Card

Alright MTG players, let me tell you about Big Score from Streets of New Capenna - this red instant spell is way more powerful than its common rarity might suggest! For 4 mana (that's three generic and one red), you get to draw two cards AND create two Treasure tokens. Now here's the catch - you have to discard a card as an additional cost to cast it. But honestly? That's not really a downside in the right deck! Think about it - you're essentially trading one card from your hand for two fresh cards plus two mana sources. Those Treasure tokens are absolute game-changers - they're artifacts that you can tap and sacrifice to add one mana of any color, which means this card actually fixes your mana while refilling your hand. I've used this in so many red-based decks that want to churn through their library quickly, and it never disappoints. The fact that it's an instant means you can hold up mana for other responses, and if nothing urgent comes up, you just cast Big Score at the end of your opponent's turn. It's perfect for setting up big plays - use the Treasures to ramp into something massive next turn while keeping your hand stocked. In treasure-focused decks or strategies that care about artifacts, this card does double duty. And being common means it's super accessible for building your collection without breaking the bank. Whether you're playing limited formats or constructing a clever constructed deck, Big Score delivers incredible value that often catches opponents off guard. It's one of those cards that seems simple on the surface but has so much strategic depth once you start building around it. Seriously, if you love red decks that generate value while maintaining pressure, this card deserves a spot in your 75!
