E-bike builders, this brake sensor kit is essential for your BAFANG conversion project! This pair of sensors works with BAFANG BBS01, BBS02, BBS03, and BBS-HD mid-drive kits, as well as hub motors. The 29.9 inch length gives you plenty of cable to work with, even on larger frames like tricycles and recumbent bikes. Installation is straightforward - you replace your regular brake levers with these sensor-equipped ones, connect to the yellow 1T4 bus connector, and attach the magnet to your brake levers. When you press the brake, the magnet moves away from the sensor, cutting power to the motor immediately for safe stopping. The waterproof 3PIN connectors ensure reliable performance in all weather conditions. The high-strength adhesive tape provides secure mounting without damaging your bike's finish. Compatible with both hydraulic and mechanical brakes, making it versatile for various setups. The magnets come with protective plastic cases and foam padding to prevent damage during shipping. This safety feature is crucial for e-bike conversions - it ensures the motor stops when you need to brake, preventing dangerous situations. The build quality feels solid, and the installation process is well-documented. Whether you're building your first e-bike or upgrading an existing conversion, these brake sensors are a must-have for safety and proper functionality. The peace of mind knowing your motor will cut out when braking is worth every penny!
