Reinsman Sweet Iron Loose Ring Snaffle Bit - 5 Inch Mouth 3/8 Smooth Traditional

Horse owners and trainers, this Reinsman loose ring snaffle bit is a classic for good reason! Made with sweet iron that rusts over time to create a sweet taste that encourages salivation and a supple mouth from your horse. The 5-inch mouthpiece has a 5/16-inch diameter with a mullen relief design that distributes pressure evenly across the bars and tongue - no nutcracker effect here. The 3-inch stainless steel rings provide just enough weight to give pre-signals to your rein cues, improving communication between you and your horse. Classified as a Stage A bit, it's perfect for starting young horses, training, or maintaining steady contact. Designed for direct reining with two hands and features non-leverage rings. Don't forget to pair it with a curb strap (sold separately) to prevent rotation in your horse's mouth. Backed by a lifetime warranty, this bit has become a favorite among both professional trainers and recreational riders. If you're looking for a reliable, comfortable bit that encourages softness and responsiveness, this Reinsman snaffle delivers proven performance you can count on ride after ride.
