Shires Flexible Rubber Full Cheek Bit - Gentle Training Bit For Horses

For all you horse owners out there, this Shires Flexible Rubber Full Cheek Bit is absolutely fantastic for young horses or any horse that needs a gentle introduction to bits. The mouthpiece is made of soft rubber that's 21mm thick - that extra thickness makes it much milder and more comfortable in your horse's mouth compared to thinner bits. The full cheek design provides really clear steering and helps with lateral control, which is so important when you're training a young or green horse. The rubber mouth means your horse is more likely to accept the bit willingly and start developing a soft contact. At 165mm cheek length and 5 inch mouth, it's a great standard size that fits many horses well. The flexibility of the bit allows for natural mouth movement while still giving you the communication you need. Seriously, if you've been struggling with a horse that's resistant to the bit or just starting a young horse under saddle, this bit can make such a difference in their training progression. It's kind enough that they don't develop bad habits from discomfort, but still effective for proper communication between you and your horse. The black color looks classic and professional too. Your horse will thank you for choosing such a comfortable bit that makes learning so much easier for them. Perfect for those early training sessions when you're establishing trust and communication!
