Allstar Performance Caliper Bracket - Right Rear For GM 7.5 Inch Rear End

If you're converting your GM vehicle from drum brakes to disc brakes, this Allstar Performance bracket is exactly what you need! Specifically designed for 7.5 inch GM rear ends, it replaces the factory drum brake backing plates to provide secure mounting for intermediate metric calipers. The 1/4 inch thick steel construction is seriously sturdy - this isn't some flimsy piece that'll flex under pressure. The bolt-on design makes installation straightforward if you're familiar with brake work. It's engineered to work perfectly with Allstar's 42083 and 42084 calipers, so you know everything will fit together properly. The quality machining means the mounting surfaces are flat and true, ensuring your calipers align correctly with the rotors. This is professional-grade hardware that's built to handle the stresses of performance driving or daily use. The finish is decent enough to resist corrosion, though you might want to add some paint if you're in a salty environment. Whether you're building a performance vehicle, restoring a classic, or just upgrading your braking system for better stopping power, this bracket provides that crucial interface between your axle and the new disc brake components. It's one of those parts that seems simple but makes all the difference in a successful brake conversion. The fitment is precise - no modification or fabrication needed, which saves so much time and frustration. For anyone doing a GM brake upgrade, this bracket is essential hardware that ensures your new disc brakes install correctly and function safely.
