Parents, this Max & Lily bunk bed is an absolute dream for kids' rooms! The modern farmhouse design with that beautiful barnwood brown finish looks expensive and stylish while being super functional. The Twin XL over Queen configuration is perfect for siblings sharing a room or for sleepovers - the top bunk is Twin XL size while the bottom is a spacious Queen, giving everyone comfortable sleeping space. Built from solid New Zealand pine wood, this bed is seriously sturdy with a 400-pound weight capacity per sleeping surface, so it can handle kids, teens, and even adults safely. The non-toxic, low-VOC finish gives you peace of mind about your children's health and environment. Safety features are excellent - tall 13.5-inch guardrails on the top bunk, rounded corners and edges to prevent injuries, and a built-in ladder that can be installed on either side. The assembly is straightforward with two adults, and all hardware and instructions are included. The space-saving design frees up valuable floor space for playing, which is huge in kids' rooms. It works with standard Twin XL and Queen mattresses (sold separately) between 5-8 inches thick - no need for box springs or bunkie boards. The finished dimensions are 83.75L x 64.75W x 63.25H, making it substantial but not overwhelming in most rooms. The distressed, neutral finish hides minor scratches and wear beautifully. If you're looking for a bunk bed that combines safety, quality, style, and smart space utilization, this Max & Lily bed delivers on all fronts. Your kids will love their cool new sleeping setup, and you'll love the quality and peace of mind!
