Norpro Small Canning Rack - Folding Steel Rack For Stockpots & Small Batch Canning

Home canners, this Norpro canning rack is perfect for small batch preserving! The clever folding design means it stores flat when not in use, then opens up to hold 2 quart jars, 4 half-pint jars, or 4 pint jars securely. Made from chromed steel that withstands repeated use and cleaning without rusting. The rack elevates your jars off the direct bottom heat while allowing water to circulate freely around them - crucial for even processing and preventing broken jars. The contoured comfort grip handles rest securely on your pot's rim, making lifting hot jars in and out much safer and easier. Whether you're making jams, pickles, salsas, or preserving garden harvests, this rack turns any large stockpot into a functional canner. The size is ideal for smaller families or when you just want to put up a few jars without dragging out the massive canning equipment. The quality is typical Norpro - thoughtful design, durable materials, and attention to detail that makes food preservation easier. From seasonal fruit preserves to vegetable pickling, this rack handles all your small batch canning needs efficiently. It's one of those kitchen tools you might not use daily, but when canning season arrives, you'll be so glad you have it! The convenience and safety it adds to home preserving makes it worth every penny for anyone who enjoys putting up their own foods.
