2-Pack GP77759 Shower Cartridge Replacement For Kohler Rite-Temp Valves

If your Kohler shower is leaking or can't keep the water temperature steady, this GP77759 mixer cap is probably what you need. It replaces the internal cartridge that wears out over time and fixes those annoying drips and temperature fluctuations. Made from brass and high-quality plastic, it's built to last and seals really well. The key thing to remember during installation is don't forget the O-ring - you need to lubricate it first and make sure it sits flat in the groove. Also, use some sandpaper to clean out any limescale buildup inside, and whatever you do, don't rotate the filter cartridge or the O-ring will shift. It works with early 'Old 304' pressure balance valves and 1/2\ shower valves. Comes with a 3-year warranty from a company that's been making bathroom parts for ten years, so you know they stand behind their products.
