Flame Genie Cast Iron Fireplace Grate - Self-Feeding Design G16-BX Model

Hey fireplace owners, this Flame Genie grate is an absolute game-changer for how your fireplace performs! It's made from heavy-duty cast iron that's built to withstand seriously hot fires without warping or buckling like cheaper imitations. The G16-BX model measures 15 inches across the front, 15 inches across the back, with a 9-inch depth - perfect for smaller fireplaces or Franklin stoves. The self-feeding design is genius - the sloped basket naturally guides logs toward the center as they burn, keeping your fire concentrated and burning more efficiently. The 1.5-inch leg clearance might not sound like much, but it makes a huge difference in airflow, which means better combustion and more heat circulating into your room instead of going up the chimney. It weighs about 12 pounds, giving you that substantial, quality feel right out of the box. The flat bottom basket-style design is cast as one solid piece, so there are no weak points or joints that could fail over time. It actually protects your fireplace hearth by reflecting up to one-third of the heat back into the room instead of letting it damage your masonry. Installation is tool-free and simple - just place it in your fireplace and you're ready to go. It's crafted right here in the USA by Flame Genie, a company that really knows fireplace accessories. Whether you're burning wood for ambiance or actually heating your home, this grate makes your fireplace more efficient, safer, and easier to maintain. The quality is immediately apparent - this isn't some lightweight imitation, it's the real deal that will last for years of cozy fires. Seriously, if you use your fireplace regularly, upgrading to this grate will make you wonder why you waited so long!
