Chess enthusiasts, these Berliner modern chess pieces are absolutely stunning! The 3.9-inch king stands tall and majestic, with all the other pieces proportioned perfectly for that classic chess aesthetic. Crafted from beautiful golden rosewood and boxwood combination, each piece is handcrafted and polished to a smooth, beautiful finish that feels amazing in your hand. The weighted design gives them substantial heft - total weight is about 2 pounds for the full set of 34 pieces - so they stay firmly in place during intense games. The modern minimalist style is both timeless and contemporary, looking gorgeous on any chess board. These are recommended for boards with 1.96 to 2.16 inch squares, which is pretty standard for quality chess sets. The craftsmanship is truly impressive - you can tell these are made by skilled artisans who take pride in their work. The pieces have that perfect balance between elegant simplicity and detailed character that makes every game feel special. They come with a 3-year replacement warranty against manufacturing defects, which shows the confidence in their quality.
