These JSP piling caps are such a smart solution for protecting your dock investment! The white 8-inch size is perfect for standard pilings, but they come in multiple sizes from 4 inches all the way up to 13 inches to fit practically any piling you have. Made from polypropylene, these caps are flexible enough to accommodate slightly misshapen pilings but won't stretch out over time. The flat cap style gives your dock a clean, finished appearance while providing crucial protection against weathering, splintering, and damage from marine life. Installation is straightforward - you'll want to use stainless steel self-tapping screws to secure them properly (screws not included, but easy to find at any hardware store). The most important thing is to measure each piling individually using the circumference method - don't assume they're all the same size because wood pilings can vary quite a bit. These caps are made right here in the USA, which is always nice to see. They're an inexpensive way to extend the life of your costly pilings by preventing internal rot and damage from sun, rain, and water exposure. The white color looks sharp and maintains visibility. If you're tired of replacing damaged pilings or just want your dock to look more polished, these caps are absolutely worth installing. They're one of those simple upgrades that make a big difference in both appearance and longevity. Seriously, for the relatively low cost, the protection they provide is invaluable for any dock owner!
