These Bench Cookie cones are one of those simple woodworking accessories that you don't realize you need until you try them - then you wonder how you ever managed without! They're designed to fit snugly over any Bench Cookie Work Grippers, creating these little elevated points that hold your workpiece securely while you finish both sides. The cone shape means minimal surface contact with your project, which is crucial because it prevents finish marks or marring on your carefully prepared wood surfaces. I've used these when applying stain, paint, varnish, and even when gluing up projects - they keep everything elevated and protected. The set of four gives you stable support for most project sizes, and they're reusable indefinitely. What's really smart is how they protect your actual Bench Cookie pads from getting covered in finish products - the cones take the abuse instead. They've saved me from so many 'oops' moments where I accidentally touched a wet surface or left marks on fresh finish. If you do any wood finishing or painting projects, these little cones are absolutely worth adding to your toolkit. They're one of those humble accessories that make a noticeable difference in your final results by keeping everything clean and mark-free during the crucial finishing stage.
