Transmission Cooler Thermal Bypass Valve - Replacement For GM Vehicles

GM truck and SUV owners, this thermal bypass valve is an important component for maintaining proper transmission temperature control. Designed to replace OEM part numbers 86774933 and 85585333, it fits perfectly on 2014-2020 GMC Sierra and Yukon, 2016-2018 Cadillac CT6, 2015 Escalade, and 2014-2019 Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe, and Suburban models. The high-quality aluminum construction ensures durability and reliable performance in your vehicle's transmission system. The purpose of this valve is actually pretty clever - it helps your transmission heat up quickly when cold, reducing fluid viscosity for more efficient operation, then bypasses the cooler once optimal temperature is reached. Replacement is straightforward if you're familiar with basic automotive work, though having a service manual handy helps. The quality matches what you'd expect from OEM parts, with precise machining and proper sealing surfaces. When these valves fail, they can cause transmission overheating or prevent proper warm-up, leading to performance issues and potential damage. Having a quality replacement on hand can save you from expensive transmission repairs down the road. The aluminum material resists corrosion and handles temperature fluctuations well. Installation typically requires basic tools and some transmission fluid for topping off afterward. Whether you're doing preventative maintenance or addressing an existing issue, this valve delivers OEM-level performance at a much more reasonable price. Definitely a smart investment for maintaining your GM vehicle's transmission health and performance!
