Hey hockey card collectors! This is a really cool find - the 2017-18 Upper Deck Tim Hortons Alex Ovechkin Stat Makers card, number SM-8 in the series. For those who don't know, these Tim Hortons hockey cards are super popular in Canada and among NHL fans, often found in specially marked coffee cups during hockey season. This particular card features Alex Ovechkin, one of the greatest goal scorers in NHL history, from the Washington Capitals. The Stat Makers series highlights players who consistently deliver impressive statistics season after season - and Ovechkin definitely fits that description with his incredible goal-scoring records. The card condition appears to be nice and crisp from what I can tell, though of course individual card conditions can vary. These Tim Hortons cards have become really collectible over the years, with some special inserts and parallels becoming quite valuable. The design typically features great photography with the Tim Hortons branding, making them distinct from the main Upper Deck series. Whether you're building the complete 2017-18 Tim Hortons set, specifically collecting Ovechkin cards, or just adding to your hockey collection, this is a solid addition. The card captures Ovechkin during his prime scoring years and represents an important part of hockey card history through the Tim Hortons partnership. For Caps fans or Ovechkin collectors, this is definitely a must-have card that showcases one of the most dominant players of his generation. The Stat Makers theme is particularly appropriate given Ovechkin's consistent performance and record-breaking achievements. As with any trading card, storage in protective sleeves or holders will help maintain its condition over time. Seriously, if you're into hockey memorabilia or know someone who is, this card makes a fantastic addition to any collection and represents a fun piece of hockey culture from the Tim Hortons promotional series!
