CAMP Druid Pro Descender - Self-Locking Belay Device For Rope Access & Rescue

For experienced climbers and rescue professionals, the CAMP Druid Pro is seriously impressive gear! This self-locking descender is designed for semi-static ropes between 10-11mm, making it perfect for skilled users working on inclined surfaces or rescue operations. The compact, lightweight design features a forged aluminum alloy body and lever with precision-cast stainless steel mechanical components - this is professional-grade equipment built to perform when it matters most. Unlike the standard Druid, the Pro version lacks the anti-panic function but features a sliding cam surface that provides gradual friction control for smooth operation. During falls or heavy loads, it reduces the impact force by about 40% compared to conventional systems, which is huge for safety and comfort. It's triple-certified too: EN 12841/C for work descender use up to 120kg (rescue to 200kg), EN 341/2A for emergency descent on single ropes, and EN 15151-1 for climbing with dynamic ropes from 9.9-11mm. The cam can be deactivated with a trigger for easy rope sliding when unloaded, and there's a steel ring for attaching keeper cords. Whether you're doing industrial rope access, technical rescue, or advanced climbing, this descender delivers reliable performance with the safety features professionals demand. The build quality is exceptional - you can feel the precision engineering in every component. It handles smoothly, provides excellent control during descents, and inspires confidence in demanding situations. For anyone working at height or involved in technical rescue, the Druid Pro represents the kind of equipment that makes difficult jobs safer and more manageable. It's one of those tools that experienced users immediately appreciate for its intelligent design and flawless execution.
