SHIMANO Altus Disc Brake Set - ST-EF505 Lever With BR-MT200 Caliper For 3-Speed Bikes

Cyclists looking to upgrade their braking system, this Shimano Altus disc brake set delivers professional performance at an affordable price point! The set includes the ST-EF505 EZ Fire brake/shifter lever for the left side and the BR-MT200 2-piston MTB caliper, complete with a 1000mm SM-BH59-SS black hose. What's really impressive is how Shimano packs so much technology into this system - the lever combines Reach Adjust so you can customize how far the lever sits from your handlebars, EZ FIRE Plus shifting for smooth gear changes, and an OPTICAL GEAR DISPLAY that lets you see your gear position at a glance. The hydraulic actuation provides consistent, powerful braking in all conditions without the cable stretch issues that mechanical brakes can develop. The BR-MT200 caliper has a versatile design that works with numerous bike styles and features quick, easy cleaning maintenance. The 3-finger alloy brake lever offers comfortable operation and great leverage, while the funnel bleeding system makes maintenance straightforward even for home mechanics. The clear shift response and light action performance make gear changes smooth and precise. Installation is cleaner thanks to the one-way bleeding system and Shimano's proprietary mineral oil, which is less messy than other brake fluids. This set is specifically designed for 3-speed setups and comes without an adapter, so make sure it's compatible with your bike's mounting system. Whether you're building up a new bike or upgrading an existing one, Shimano's reputation for reliability and performance really shows in this Altus series. The quality is what you'd expect from Shimano - precise, durable, and designed to work perfectly right out of the box. Such a great value for getting genuine Shimano hydraulic disc brake performance on your bike!
