Fischer Meister-Box Hollow Metal Dowels & Screws - Pack Of 50 Assorted Cavity Wall Fixings

Hey DIYers and professional contractors! This fischer Meister-Box is like the ultimate starter kit for hollow wall installations and fixes. The box comes with 50 pre-sorted hollow metal dowels and screws in five different sizes: you get 10 pieces of 5x37 S PH, 10 pieces of 5x37 S, 10 pieces of 5x52 S PH, 10 pieces of 5x52 S, 5 pieces of 5x65 S PH, and 5 pieces of 5x65 S. The transparent lid is genius because you can actually see what you have left at a glance without opening the box and potentially spilling everything. These hollow metal dowels are specifically designed for cavity building materials like plasterboard, drywall, and other panel materials - they're not for solid concrete or masonry. The design features these expansion arms that create a large contact surface inside the cavity, which gives you much higher load capacity than basic plastic anchors. The metric internal thread is super convenient because it allows you to repeatedly remove and reattach fixtures without damaging the anchor - perfect for situations where you might need to access behind mounted items occasionally. Installation is straightforward: drill your hole, insert the dowel, and tighten the screw to expand the arms behind the panel material. The quality is typical fischer - German engineering that just works reliably every time. I've used these for everything from mounting pictures and shelves to installing light fixtures and electrical boxes in drywall. The different head types (PH refers to Phillips head) give you flexibility depending on your screw preferences and what you have available in your toolkit. The box itself closes tightly and is actually refillable, which is nice if you want to keep using it after you've gone through the initial assortment. Whether you're a professional tradesperson who needs reliable fixings for daily jobs or a homeowner tackling various projects around the house, having this assortment means you'll probably have the right size for whatever comes up. The peace of mind knowing your mounted items are securely fastened is worth the slightly higher cost compared to generic anchors. Definitely a smart addition to any toolbox!
