7 Wonders Duel: Agora Expansion - Senate Board Game Expansion By Repos Production

If you're a fan of 7 Wonders Duel (and let's be real, who isn't?), this Agora expansion adds a whole new layer of strategic depth that makes an already fantastic game even better! Designed by Antoine Bauza and published by Repos Production, this expansion introduces a completely new way to win - through political control of the Senate. The centerpiece is the new Senate board with six separate chambers that provide different benefits when you control them. You gain control by playing senator cards, but here's the catch: the more senators you try to influence, the more it costs you to do so. It creates this beautiful tension between pursuing military, scientific, or civilian victories versus going for that instant Senate victory. The expansion includes 13 new cards and introduces conspiracy cards that add another element of surprise and strategy. The components quality matches the original game - nice card stock, clear iconography, and everything integrates seamlessly with your base game. Setup is quick once you're familiar with the new rules, and the learning curve is manageable if you already know how to play 7 Wonders Duel. What's really brilliant is how it forces you to rethink your entire strategy - sometimes you might be cruising toward a science victory, then suddenly your opponent is one move away from controlling the Senate, and you have to pivot quickly. It balances perfectly with the existing victory conditions rather than overwhelming them. If you've played the base game to death and want to refresh the experience, or if you just love deeper strategic options, this expansion is absolutely worth it. It maintains that tight two-player tension that makes 7 Wonders Duel so addictive while giving you new paths to explore. Just remember - you need the base game to play this expansion. It's one of those expansions that feels essential once you've tried it, making game nights with your favorite opponent even more engaging and unpredictable.
