Fishing around your aquarium? The Seachem Delicate Species net is exactly what you need! With its fine mesh design, this 8-inch net is perfect for safely handling delicate fish in both freshwater and saltwater setups. The fine mesh is gentle on fins and scales, reducing stress on your aquatic friends during tank maintenance or transfers. It's surprisingly durable too - built to last through regular use without tearing or falling apart. The comfortable handle gives you good control when navigating through plants and decorations to reach those tricky fish. What's really great is how the fine mesh helps keep your water clean by preventing small particles from stirring up during netting. The black color seems to cause less stress to fish compared to brightly colored nets. Whether you're dealing with delicate species like angelfish with long fins, small tetras, or sensitive saltwater fish, this net provides the gentle handling they need. The 8-inch size is versatile enough for most home aquariums, from small nanos to larger tanks. It's also great for shrimp and other invertebrates that might slip through larger mesh nets. The construction quality is typical Seachem - reliable and well-made for the price. Many aquarists find this becomes their go-to net for daily maintenance and fish handling because it's just the right size and gentleness for most tasks. The fine mesh does require a bit more cleaning after use, but it's worth it for the protection it offers your fish. Perfect for both beginner and experienced fish keepers who want to minimize stress during tank maintenance. Your fish will thank you for choosing such a gentle net that makes their occasional relocation much more comfortable and safe.
