The quality feels surprisingly good for an aftermarket part - made from durable ABS plastic that matches the OEM look and feel. Installation is pretty straightforward if you're comfortable with basic car repairs, though if you're not confident working with electrical components, getting professional help is probably wise. The fit is spot-on - it clicks into place just like the original and functions perfectly. I replaced mine after the original switch started acting up intermittently, and this one has worked flawlessly for months now. Before ordering, definitely double-check your specific model year and compare the part number to make sure this is the right switch for your vehicle. The packaging is simple but secure, and you get exactly what's described - just the switch itself, no instructions included. If you're tired of struggling with a malfunctioning tailgate button or worried about being locked out of your trunk, this affordable replacement will get your electric tailgate working smoothly again without the dealership repair bill. It's one of those common wear items that eventually needs replacement on these vehicles, and this aftermarket option works perfectly at a fraction of the OEM cost.
