Fujimi 1/700 Scale Japanese Navy Aircraft Carrier Shotsuru Model Kit - Full Hull Gray Version

Attention model builders and military history enthusiasts! This Fujimi 1/700 scale model of the Japanese Navy Aircraft Carrier Shotsuru is an absolutely fantastic project for intermediate to advanced builders. This full-hull version shows the complete ship from waterline down, and it even includes a display pedestal so you can showcase your finished masterpiece properly. The kit reproduces the carrier as it appeared during the Pacific War in 1941, complete with incredible details like separate 25mm gun barrels that really make the armament look authentic. You get two pieces of the 1.0 inch (25mm) aircraft guns, and the molded aircraft are now in gray instead of clear plastic, which is a nice upgrade. The decal sheet includes everything from the Hinmaru aircraft markings to the white deck lines and flags, adding those perfect finishing touches. This isn't a simple snap-together kit though - you'll need model glue, paints, and basic modeling tools to complete it properly. The challenge is part of the fun, and the results are seriously impressive when you take your time with the assembly and painting. The historical accuracy is typical Fujimi quality, with careful attention to the ship's specifications and details. Whether you're building your first ship model or adding to an extensive collection, this Shotsuru carrier offers hours of enjoyable, detailed work. The instructions are in Japanese but include universal symbols and diagrams that are easy to follow. The finished model measures about 12 inches long, making it a substantial and impressive display piece. If you love naval history or detailed scale modeling, this kit is absolutely worth the time and effort. The sense of accomplishment when you complete it is incredible!
