ACDelco 24232310 GM Original Equipment Automatic Transmission Case Rear Extension With Seal

GM vehicle owners and mechanics, this ACDelco transmission extension housing is exactly what you need for proper transmission repairs! As a GM Original Equipment part, it's manufactured to the same strict standards as the original component that came with your vehicle. The transmission extension housing supports the output shaft and driveshaft at the rear of your transmission, and this OEM-quality replacement ensures everything fits and functions exactly as intended. I installed this on my Silverado when the original housing developed cracks, and the fit was perfect - no modifications or adjustments needed. The quality is immediately apparent when you unbox it - the casting is clean, the machining is precise, and it includes the proper seal for leak-free operation. What I appreciate about ACDelco GM OE parts is the reliability - you know you're getting components that will perform correctly and last as long as the original. Installation was straightforward for anyone familiar with transmission work, though if you're not comfortable with drivetrain repairs, this is definitely a job for a professional mechanic. After several months of use, including towing heavy loads, the housing has performed flawlessly with no leaks or issues. The part number 24232310 is specific to certain GM models, so definitely verify compatibility with your vehicle before ordering. Whether you're dealing with damage from off-road use, age-related wear, or need to replace a leaking housing, this ACDelco component delivers that factory-fit performance that aftermarket parts sometimes can't match. The peace of mind knowing you're installing GM-approved parts is worth the investment, especially for critical components like transmission housings. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to maintain their GM vehicle with quality parts that match original specifications and performance!
