Each round, players travel away from home to find trinkets and doodads to add to their cabinets, scoring curio points for sets of similar objects, different items, and various other unique setups. It's all about who can create the best whatnot cabinet by strategically collecting these rare, unusual, and intriguing objects. The game really taps into that joy we all feel when we discover small, precious objects along beaches, trails, and in the wilderness. But here's the cool part - some players have a special knack for assembling those found objects into amazing collections that score big points. Whether you're playing with family or friends, this game offers that perfect blend of strategy and casual fun that makes for memorable game nights. The components are well-designed, and the gameplay is engaging without being overly complicated. It's the kind of game that sparks conversations and brings out people's inner collector.
