Parents and teachers, this Exploding Emotions game is such a fun way to help kids understand and talk about feelings! It's a 2-in-1 set that works as both a hilarious family game and serious social emotional learning tool. The game plays similar to Apples to Apples where kids match scenario cards to feeling cards, then everyone defends their choices - it gets pretty passionate and funny! There are 140 scenario cards and 40 emotion flashcards with stunning real-life drawings that make feelings crystal clear. What's really special are the coping strategies on the back of each emotion card, created by a speech therapist - these actually work for helping kids regulate their emotions. The detailed handbook walks you through empathy, perspective taking, problem solving, and facial recognition so even if you're new to social emotional learning, you'll feel confident using this. It's versatile enough for toddlers (just use the feeling cards) through adults (play the full game), making it perfect for families with kids of different ages. Therapists love this for autism therapy, speech therapy, ABA sessions, and classroom social skills activities. The organized box makes it easy to travel with too. Whether you're a parent wanting to help your child understand their emotions better, a teacher looking for engaging social skills activities, or a therapist needing effective materials, this set delivers both fun and meaningful learning. Kids don't even realize they're learning important life skills because they're having too much fun playing the game!
