If you have a child who chews on everything - shirts, pencils, fingers, you name it - these Chewy Stixx are literally a game changer. They're designed specifically as oral motor devices (not toys, so adult supervision is important) for kids who need that sensory input. The grape flavor makes them actually appealing to children, which is huge because let's be honest, if they don't like it, they won't use it. The knobby texture is intentional - it alternates between different surfaces to simulate the changing textures of food, which is fantastic for kids with sensory issues or those who struggle with certain food textures. They're extremely durable and made from FDA-approved materials that are PVC, phthalate, and latex free, so you don't have to worry about harmful chemicals. Therapists actually helped design these, so they know what they're doing when it comes to sensory needs. They come in 7 different flavors, so if grape isn't their thing, you've got options. The big win is that kids aren't embarrassed to use these - they look kind of fun rather than medical. Of course, you should always check them regularly for wear and replace at the first sign of damage, but they're built to last through some serious chewing. For parents and therapists dealing with destructive chewing habits, these provide a safe, hygienic alternative that actually meets the child's sensory needs without destroying clothing or school supplies. They're cost-effective too compared to replacing chewed-up shirts and pencils constantly.
