DIYers, this cabinet hanging system is about to make your life so much easier! The Hang It Yourself system lets one person install wall cabinets with professional results, no helper needed. Here's how it works: First, you attach the rail to the wall - it comes pre-punched with holes every 3/4 inch so you can hit every stud. The rail is easy to level, shim, and secure properly. Next, you mount the auto-aligning brackets on your cabinets. Finally, you just hang the cabinets on the rail - that's it! The brackets support each cabinet independently without stressing adjacent units. Once everything's hanging, you can easily move and align the cabinets before attaching the faces together. The rail sits about 1-3/16 inches above the cabinet tops (usually hidden by crown molding) and holds cabinets about 5/16 inch off the wall (covered by scribe trim). The kit includes all hardware for wood framed walls - you just need to provide the front face attachment screws since those vary by cabinet manufacturer. For other wall types like metal stud, brick, or concrete, you'll need different fasteners. The rails can be trimmed with a hacksaw if needed. Seriously, if you've ever struggled with cabinet installation, this system takes all the frustration out of the process!
