The suction cups are no joke - they claim to hold up to 55 pounds and I believe it because my chunky 15-pound cat jumps on and off without any wobbling or loosening. The reversible cover is brilliant - one side is breathable mesh for summer that doesn't get too hot, and the other side is soft fleece for winter cuddles.
