Alright hockey players, listen up - these Potent Hockey synthetic ice tiles are basically your ticket to year-round training, no ice rink required. The new improved surface is 20% smoother than previous versions, giving you a much more realistic ice-like glide. Each tile measures 18x18 inches, and you get 10 per carton covering about 21.6 square feet - but the cool part is you can keep adding more to create whatever size training area you need. The interlocking system is super simple - just snap them together and you've got an instant skating surface in your garage, basement, driveway, or backyard. Skating on synthetic ice does have slightly more resistance than real ice, which actually makes it awesome for building leg strength and improving your skating power. Your skates will dull a bit faster - plan on sharpening after every 5-10 hours of use - but the tiles won't damage your blades. Maintenance is easy too - just sweep or vacuum regularly and occasionally mop with water to keep the surface smooth. You can practice everything from basic skating to stick handling, puck control, passing, and shooting. The tiles handle hockey stops without gouging or damaging the surface. They're not really designed for figure skating, but for hockey training? Absolutely perfect. Imagine being able to work on your skills anytime you want, without driving to the rink or paying for ice time. It's one of those investments that seriously pays off in improved performance come game time.
