Baseball parents and coaches, listen up! This Rawlings 15.5-inch intermediate chest protector is exactly what your young catcher needs for proper protection without being too bulky. The RoyalWhite color looks sharp and professional on the field. At 15.5 inches, it's designed specifically for intermediate players - not too small, not too large, just the right coverage for growing athletes. The construction feels solid and durable, able to handle those fast pitches and foul tips season after season. The padding is substantial enough to absorb impact but still allows for good mobility, which is crucial for catchers who need to move quickly. The straps are adjustable so you can get a secure fit that won't shift around during play. I've seen this used in both practices and games, and it holds up really well. The quality is what you'd expect from Rawlings - a trusted brand in baseball equipment. It's lightweight enough that younger players won't feel weighed down, but protective enough that parents can feel confident about their child's safety behind the plate. The sizing is accurate - make sure to measure your player to ensure the 15.5-inch size is appropriate for their build. Whether your kid is moving up from youth leagues or just getting more serious about catching, this protector offers that perfect balance of protection and comfort. Definitely a solid piece of gear that will last through multiple seasons with proper care.
