Serious artists, this Ampersand hardboard panel is absolutely professional-grade and perfect for creating artwork that will last for generations! The 12x16 inch size with 3/4 inch cradled profile gives you a substantial painting surface that's ready to hang without additional framing. Made from FSC-certified hardboard that's incredibly stable and warp-resistant - no more worrying about your artwork bowing or bending over time. This museum-quality surface works beautifully with all types of media: acrylic gessoes, traditional gesso, oil primers, specialty grounds, you name it. You can also use it as a support for mounting watercolor papers, photographs, fabrics, or prints if you prefer working on paper but want the stability of a rigid panel. Made in the USA with over 25 years of expertise, Ampersand is the gold standard in painting panels that professional artists trust. The smooth, consistent surface takes paint beautifully and provides that professional foundation that makes your artwork look its best. Whether you're creating pieces for exhibition, sale, or personal collection, starting with a quality panel like this makes a noticeable difference in both the painting process and the finished result. If you're tired of dealing with warped canvases or want to upgrade to archival-quality materials, this hardboard panel delivers that professional foundation your artwork deserves.
