Passages International Journey Earthurn - Biodegradable Urn For Water Or Ground Burial (Standard Aqua)

When it comes to honoring a loved one's final wishes in an environmentally conscious way, the Passages International Journey Earthurn offers a beautiful and meaningful solution. This eco-friendly urn is hand-crafted from sustainably produced, biodegradable paper and is completely designed to return to the earth gently and naturally. The standard size measures 12.5\ long by 14\ wide by 3\ high with a capacity of 220 cubic inches, making it suitable for most adults' ashes. For water burials, this urn is absolutely perfect - it's engineered to float momentarily before gracefully sinking beneath the surface, then breaks down rapidly to gently release the ashes into lakes, rivers, or oceans. The included water-soluble plastic bag keeps the ashes secure when dry but dissolves quickly when submerged. What's really thoughtful is that you can open and reseal the urn if you want to scatter some ashes in multiple locations before the final water burial. But it's not just for water ceremonies - the Journey Earthurn works beautifully for ground burial too, where it will naturally break down over time. The aqua color option has a peaceful, ocean-like quality, and you can even choose the engraved version to add a personal message or your loved one's name. It's TSA-approved too, making it practical for travel if you need to transport ashes to a special scattering location. This urn represents such a compassionate choice for families looking for a green burial option that honors both their loved one and the environment. The entire process feels natural, respectful, and connected to the cycles of nature in a way that traditional urns simply can't match. It's a beautiful send-off that creates a meaningful, lasting memory while giving back to the planet.
