Hey DIYers! If your dryer has stopped spinning or started making awful noises, this 4392067 repair kit might be exactly what you need to get it running smoothly again. This complete kit includes everything required to fix common dryer issues - you get 1 idler pulley (279640), 4 drum rollers (W10314173), 1 belt (661570), plus 9 tri-rings and a washer for good measure. The compatibility is seriously impressive - it works with most Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Amana, Admiral, and Inglis dryers. We're talking specific models like Whirlpool WED9250WW1, WED9270XL0; Kenmore 110.63022101, 110.72182102; Maytag YMED3500FW0, YMED4200BG0; and Amana NGD7300WW1, YNED7500XW0 among many others. Installation is pretty straightforward - with just a screwdriver and some basic mechanical skills, you can typically get this installed in under an hour. The parts are good quality (though they're aftermarket, not OEM) and they've been tested to ensure they'll hold up. When these components wear out, your dryer might make excessive noise, spin slowly, or stop spinning altogether - this kit addresses all those issues at once. Having all the necessary parts together means you won't make multiple trips to the hardware store, and the cost savings compared to hiring a repair technician are substantial. Just a heads up - the drum rollers might come in either blue or red, but the color doesn't affect performance at all. If you're comfortable with basic repairs, this kit could save you hundreds of dollars and extend your dryer's life significantly.
