Alright divers, listen up - this surface marker buoy might just be one of the most important safety pieces you can add to your gear. At 6 feet long when inflated, this thing is seriously visible out there on the water. The bright red color (they have fluorescent yellow too) combined with reflective strips on both sides means boats and other people can spot you from a good distance away. What's really smart is the TPU one-way explosion-proof valve - it automatically seals after inflation so you don't have to worry about it deflating unexpectedly during your dive. The 210D nylon fabric with waterproof TPU coating feels super durable and can handle some rough treatment without tearing. There are stainless steel D rings on both ends too, making it easy to attach to your gear or clip onto something. Inflation is a breeze - you can use your oral inflator or standard BC hose, and the dump valve lets you quickly deflate it for storage after your dive. Whether you're into scuba diving, snorkeling, spearfishing, or any other underwater activity, having this SMB with you just adds that extra layer of safety that's totally worth it. I've used mine in various conditions, and it's held up perfectly every time. Seriously, don't hit the water without one of these - it could literally save your life by making sure everyone knows exactly where you are when you surface.
