Martha Stewart Indoor Compost Bin - Countertop Kitchen Composter With Odor Filter, 0.7 Gallon Capacity

Ready to start composting but worried about smells and mess? Martha Stewart's indoor compost bin is here to make sustainable living actually doable in your kitchen! This elegant little composter holds about 0.7 gallons - perfect for a family of four's food scraps for roughly a week before you need to empty it. The revolutionary Astrik material is made from 100% plant-based ingredients (PLA, bamboo, and calcium) instead of regular plastic, so you're not leaching any nasty chemicals into your compost. The integrated hemp-based filter in the lid is pure genius - it neutralizes odors naturally so your kitchen stays fresh instead of smelling like rotting vegetables. The vented lid prevents gas buildup, and the sturdy bamboo carrying handle makes transporting your scraps to the outdoor compost pile or community drop-off center comfortable and easy. At approximately 9 inches tall with a 7.5-inch diameter, it fits perfectly on your countertop without taking up too much space, and it comes in four beautiful colors (including this lovely sage green) to match your kitchen decor. Cleaning is straightforward - just hand wash with warm soapy water between uses. Each filter lasts about two months and is even dishwasher safe for easy refreshing. This isn't just some ugly plastic bucket you hide under the sink - it's actually attractive enough to leave out where you'll remember to use it! Martha modeled this after her own personal composter, so you know it's been tested in real kitchen conditions. Whether you're an experienced composter or just starting your sustainability journey, this bin makes the process clean, simple, and actually enjoyable. The leak-proof design means no messy drips on your counters, and the durable construction handles daily use without cracking or staining. It's amazing how something so simple can make you feel so good about reducing your food waste footprint!
