Automotive technicians and electrical pros, this Kaufpart clamp meter is seriously handy for diagnosing electrical issues! The ETCR6000B model measures both AC and DC leakage current from 0mA up to 60.0A with ±2% accuracy, making it perfect for tracking down those tricky electrical problems. The non-contact measurement means you can test circuits safely without disconnecting anything - just clamp around the wire and get your reading. The slender 16x18mm jaw design fits into tight spaces where bulkier clamps won't reach. What's really cool is its specialty in automotive work - it's designed specifically for measuring car DC dark current and leakage current, which is huge for diagnosing battery drain issues. The 4-digit LCD display is clear and easy to read, with automatic polarity indication for DC measurements. The USB interface lets you upload data to your computer for analysis and record-keeping. With features like data hold, automatic shutdown, and automatic ranging, it's both user-friendly and efficient for professional use. The ABS construction feels durable, and the included carrying bag makes it easy to transport to different job sites. Whether you're troubleshooting parasitic battery drain in vehicles, checking electrical systems in buildings, or working on industrial equipment, this meter gives you the precision you need in a compact, affordable package. It's one of those diagnostic tools that pays for itself quickly by saving you hours of guesswork when tracking down electrical faults. The battery life is impressive too - about 100 hours of continuous use from a standard 9V battery. For anyone working with electrical systems regularly, this is definitely a worthwhile addition to your toolkit!
