Climbers and safety professionals, this PETZL Jane-Y lanyard is serious protection for work at height! The double lanyard design allows you to maintain constant connection while moving between anchor points, which is crucial for safety during complex maneuvers. What makes this system so effective is the dynamic rope construction combined with the ABSORBICA energy absorber - if you do fall, the system gradually decelerates you instead of creating that dangerous sudden stop. The plastic sheaths at each end are brilliant - they keep your carabiners positioned correctly and protect the terminations from abrasion, plus they make clipping so much smoother. Available in 60cm and 100cm lengths, you can choose what works best for your specific applications. The individual identification marking on each sheath means you can track the equipment's service life properly, which is so important for safety-critical gear. I've used this system for both industrial work and recreational climbing, and the quality is exactly what you'd expect from PETZL - reliable, well-engineered, and built to withstand real-world use. It meets both CE EN 354 and ANSI Z359.3 standards, giving you confidence in its performance. Whether you're a professional working at height, a serious climber pushing your limits, or someone who needs reliable fall protection, this lanyard system delivers the safety and functionality that could literally save your life. It's become essential gear that I never work without when off the ground!
